Hi there! I am so glad you found me! My mission is to inspire you to make the most out of your vacation time and budget to explore the world. Before we begin our journey together, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I started this blog as a way to keep family and friends in the loop when I went on a 3-week trip to Asia in 2011. [Page, AZ] The post-half-marathon itinerary was a leisurely 74-mile drive to Page, AZ. We left Kanab to continue East on Hwy 89, and now we were skirting the southern edge of the Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument. The giant “steps” that make up this area were now much easier to see.

Due to all the rain overnight, the grassy field had turned into a muddy treacherous mess. This year’s weather… Read More
[Sedona, AZ] Our Saturday morning, we got up early to take a pink jeep tour of the red rocks around Sedona. We got a combo tour, so that meant we were going to spend about 3 hours driving around. Thankfully, these custom jeeps came with blankets, as it was a chilly morning! We stopped multiple times for photo ops, and the interesting rock formations around us seemed to be never ending! The… Read More
