Back in London after a Decade

Quite unexpectedly, I found myself in London after a decade! Ash had a conference there, and of course I had to tag along. We flew non stop PDX to Heathrow. We landed in London just after noon, then took the tube into London City. I finally got to use my visitor oyster card again – I knew I was saving it for a reason) One of its benefits is that it never expires and any credit on it will stay on there. I actually still had £9.20 on it!
We were staying near Tower of London. The location was perfect for an evening stroll before we grabbed dinner.
Tower Bridge was just ahead of us. Despite the cold, it was busy with tourists!
We walked on the southern bank of the Thames near City Hall. I tried to re-create the 2014 pic I took here; did I succeed?
We ducked into a casual Greek place by the bridge for dinner, then called it a night so we could catch up on some sleep before some serious sightseeing.
